37. Animagus

Reid stared at thirteen down on the crossword in complete confusion. The clue was just so cryptic that he didn’t know what the word could be. Not even the fact that he knew what the word started and ended with helped. He even knew that it had an ‘A’ as the second last letter due to the fact that fifteen across was Animagus.

Looking at the answers in the next day’s paper Reid groaned as he realized how obvious the word should have been. The answer to thirteen down was Bugbear! Sometimes he didn’t know why he attempted the crosswords.
