31. Dress robes

Reid set Valentine on the bed gently, careful not to wake his sleeping son. It had been a long night and Reid was exhausted, but as Sienna was attending to Serenity it fell to Reid to change Valentine out of his dress robes and into his pyjama’s. A task which recently Valentine had been insisting he could do by himself, he was four you know.

Reid changed his son carefully, not wanting to disturb his rest more than necessary, before tucking him into bed and turning on the nightlight. Reid gently stroked Valentine’s hair before quietly leaving the boys bedroom.
