People said that he looked happy. That they looked happy. That they were the perfect couple once more. That he’d obviously come to his senses after having done the most despicable thing on Earth, falling in love with a woman who wasn’t his fiancée.

Reid hated everything. They were happy, well she was happy at least, and he hadn’t come to his senses, because he still loved the girl who was most definitely not his fiancée.

Yet whenever he was asked if he and Sienna were happy he’d lie.

It was all an act and he’d lost his only escape.
