Chapter 8: Charms

Well this was going to be boring. Charms was one thing Caitlin knew NOTHING about and she was going to fail epically in this class. Even if she did buck her ideas up and work as hard as she possibly could.

"Well hello, Callahan"[/b] said Adam as he sat in his place beside the first year Gryffindor.

"You know my first name so why are you still calling me Callahan, Marx?" asked Caitlin with a slight smile on her face.

"Because we can't have people thinking we're friends now, can we?"

"But we kind of are friends. Why should I keep that a secret? Anyone would thing it was weird for a Slytherin to be friends with a Gryffindor" replied Caitlin, a slightly bemused look on her features.

"The two houses are kind of stereotyped as enemies..." said Adam but Caitlin cut in before he could finish.

"...So why not break the stereotype?" said Caitilin kind of patronisignly. Adam sighed. She was right. And he hated when a cute girl was right.

"Okay, fine. You got me" replied Adam finally.

"And you did say you'd introduce me to some of your friends" said Caitlin in a reminding voice as she skimmed through her Charms book to get to the page they had been instructed to turn to.

"Meet me in the courtyard at the end of the lesson" replied Adam. There, was she happy now? She'd gotten her own way with Adam Marx. That was something NO ONE got.

"Okay" said Caitlin now concentrating on the lesson in hand. Boy was this boring. She was beginning to wish she didn't take this class now. But at least she's met someone worth talking to.

Sorry its short guys. I was kinda strapped for time. But I hope you enjoy it all the same!
