Hogwarts RPG Name: Megara Kostas First Year | Chapter Four - A Trip To Hogsmede June 1978
Izabella glanced in the mirror and ruffled her long, dark curly hair. Her white dress clung to her attractively, falling just above the knee and baring some of her back. It was sleeveless and covered her chest, the red heels elogating her thin legs and matching her red lipstick.
Suddenly the door to her bedroom opened and her room mates ran in, giggling amongst themselves.
“You're ready early. For once.” one of the girls commented, her blonde hair neatly folded into rollers on top of her head.
“I said I'd help Sirius and James set up.” Izabella replied, picking up her wand and slipping it into the waistband of her underwear beneath her dress.
A tanned girl with brown hair sighed dramatically and fell onto her bed, running a brush through her straight hair.
“James Potter is so gorgeous.” she swooned.
“Shame he's with that Evans girl.”
“Shame he's a Gryffindor.”
The girls laughed loudly and Izabella smiled slightly.
“It's not a problem with Sirius, at least he comes from a Slytherin family.” said another girl to Izabella. Her hair was unnaturally red, in sharp contrast with her pale white skin.
Izabella shrugged slightly.
“Doesn't make a difference to me. If they look like Sirius, I wouldn't care if he was a Hufflepuff.” she said with a wink. The girls laughed racously and Izabella grinned. “I'll see you at the party.”
“Bye Izabella!” they all called as she closed the bedroom door and descended the stairs into the Slytherin common room. The few people who were still around glanced over at Izabella as she passed, their mouths dropping open.
Izabella didn't notice the reactions of those around her as she strutted across the common room, her heels clicking against the stone floor and she almost made it before-
“Izabella.” came a firm voice from behind her. She stopped and groaned, turning to face Severus and his friends as they approached her.
“And where do you think you are going?”
“To the library.” she said sarcastically. Severus raised his eyebrow and grabbed her wrist.
“You are not going to that party. Get back upstairs and put some decent clothes on.”
Izabella yanked her hand out of his grasp.
“Stop being a prat.” she moaned.
“Izabella, I told you that you couldn't go.”
“You are not my father Severus! Just because Tobias is dead it does not mean that you are the head of the family. Leave me alone.” she yelled.
A first year appeared at her elbow and coughed nervously.
“Excuse me? Izabella Prince?” he said timidly.
Izabella looked down at him and frowned.
“What?”
“Sirius Black and James Potter are outside, asking for you.”
Izabella smiled at him.
“Thanks.” she said as he ran off quickly and Izabella turned back to her brother. “Have a good night.” she said, grinning.
“Izabella.” Severus said, following her and pulling her to one side.
“If you get caught-”
“I won't!”
“Stay away from Sirius Black. He'll just hurt you.” he warned.
“He's a pureblood. Surely that's all that matters isn't it?” she said, staring up at Severus and arching an eyebrow slightly. He sighed and released his grip on her arm.
“Fine. You won't see him next year anyway.” he said, slightly triumphant, a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. Izabella rolled her eyes and started towards the door of the common room.
“Hey! Izabella!”
She turned, her hand on the door handle, to look back at the group of Slytherins impatiently.
“I'll be here waiting when you get back.” one of them said, winking grotesquely.
“Shut it Avery.” she said disgustedly, yanking open the door and glaring at them before stepping out of the common room.
Sirius and James were hovering in the corridor, dressed smartly, for once, James carrying an old tattered cloak.
“Finally.” James said, rolling his eyes. Sirius raised his eyebrows slightly and cleared his throat.
“You look, erm, nice.” he said. Izabella laughed as she approached them, tottering slightly on her heels.
“Thanks.” she smiled.
“What took you so long?” James complained as he threw the cloak over them all, crouching so that their feet wouldn't show.
“My brother.” she said in a dark voice. Sirius and James nodded understandingly and they continued in silence until they reached the statue of the old one-eyed witch.
Glancing about the corridor, James tapped the witch with his wand, mumbling under his breath, then lead them into the passage way behind it.
They removed the cloak, James stowing it beneath his shirt.
“Wait. Light your wands.” Izabella said and the boys complied, Sirius' eyes bulging as Izabella bared her thigh and extracted her wand. James rolled his eyes and continued down the unsteady pathway as Sirius grinned at Izabella.
“What?” she said, a smile creeping across her face.
“You look really beautiful.” he said gently. He leant forward and brushed his lips against hers, placing his hands on her waist.
“Is this you asking me to be your date tonight?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“If you're lucky... Maybe.” he said with a shrug, moving his lips to her jawline.
“Will you two save that for later please?” James demanded, returning back to the entrance looking annoyed. Sirius grinned and lifted his wand aloft as he guided Izabella down the passage.
“Where are Remus and Peter?” Izabella asked.
“Helping Lily to decorate the Room of the Requirement.”
“Where does Lily think you are?” Izabella asked, grinning slightly.
“In the kitchens.” James replied quietly, turning to glare at Izabella for a moment. She chuckled and the journey was quiet until they reached the hatch that would lead them into Honeydukes.
James and Sirius turned to face Izabella and she lifted her wand, tapping their head slightly and muttering an incantation. They both shivered then became camoflauged against the background of the wall. Izabella tapped her own head and she felt as though water was trickling down her back. She shuddered and lifted her arm to see that the spell had worked and she was blending with her surroundings.
James pushed open the door and crawled through into the cellar of Honeydukes. Sirius left the passageway then turned to help Izabella up. She sighed and dusted herself off then crept slowly behind the two boys as they made their way up the stairs into the main shop. Hogsmede was quiet as they slipped open the door and edged out into the deserted street. Relaxing slightly once they were outside, they continued to the Three Broomsticks, making their way around the back of the noisy pub to the door that lead to the store room.
“Put the money over there Sirius.” James whispered and Izabella saw a shimmering outline of Sirius as he emptied a bag of coins out on top of a shelf by the door.
“Duplicate the boxes.” Sirius suggested, moving to stand by James as he waved his wand at the crates of butterbeer and firewhiskey. Suddenly more boxes appeared in the room, identical to the originals. Izabella rushed over and placed the Disillusionment charm over the crates. Then she levitated them in front of her and backed out of the pub into the warm street and waited for Sirius and James as they checked for any sign they had been there.
“Lets go.” Sirius mumbled as he emerged from the doorway. The three teenagers returned back to Honeydukes and hurried back into the cellar and through the hatch into the passage. With a sigh of relief they walked back until they reached the witch statue.
“This way.” James mummered as they walked down the empty corridors, leading them down a hidden hallway emerging from an archway right opposite the Room of Requirement.
Hurrying past the wall three times, they watched as the door appeared then rushed inside, relieved.
