Chapter Ten: Home at last

Bethany was having mixed feelings. She was able to go home for the first time in two, almost three, years. But that meant leaving Scorpius behind.

She turned to Scorpius, "You better write, Scorpius. If you don't I'll...." She stopped, not knowing what she'd do.

"Cry?" he teased, smiling. Bethany glared, he rolled his eyes. "I'll write, okay?"

She nodded, "Good. And you'll visit." It wasn't a question.

"Yes. I will visit. I will see you soon. Now go on, your family is waiting.."

Scorpius then watched as she walked off, but she didn't get far. After a few yards she stopped, dropped her luggage, turned around, and ran back. She jumped up, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He stepped back in shock, but them returned the hug. "I'm going to miss you, Invisible Girl."

"And I'll miss you, Scorpius Malfoy."

She kissed him on the cheek, and ran off before he could process it. Picking up her luggage she wave, which he returned weakly.

Then she was gone, leaving Scorpius, red faced and smiling, to gather his thoughts while his impatient father looked on from the barrier. He walked slowly to his father, planning out the next time he would see Bethany.

"I'll see you soon Bethany, I'll see you soon..."
