Salazar pulled a book off of his shelf and flipped through the pages. “All this time, right under my nose,” he said slamming the book shut. “I should have turned to you sooner Herpo.”
Salazar put the book down on his desk and folded his boney fingers together. Splitting his soul now was too risky considering the others were already suspicious of him.
Taking out a quill and parchment, Salazar began writing down instructions to be published into a book so that his heir might one day finish his honorable work.
