Rowena’s eyes fluttered opened and she found herself in a crimson room trimmed with golden decorations. She knew instantly that she was in Godric room, but how had she gotten here?
Sitting up, she held her head and felt like she had woken up from a horrifying nightmare. Putting her hand on her stomach, she felt that it hadn’t been that, it had been a sickening reality that would haunt her forever.
She looked to her right and saw Godric asleep in his chair. He must have been there all night.
“Godric,” she said touching his hand gently. “What happened?”
