■■ 44. Stupefy Hermione looked nervously to her right where Ron was standing holding his wand in his hand. She then looked forward at Harry, who they had attached several large pillow to using the Sticking Charm, and frowned.
“Are you sure about this, Harry?” she asked looking down at her own wand.
“Yeah, yeah, I am,” Harry said swallowing hard. “I’ve got to know this stuff for the task, right?”
Hermione looked at Ron and then back at her wand. Harry had quick reflexes and they had taken proper precautions to make sure that Harry didn’t hurt himself with the final task looming in just a few days. There always was the chance for accidents to happen and for Harry to spend the rest of his term in the hospital wing.
“Alright, give it a go,” Harry encouraged.
Hermione took out her wand and gave it a quick flick. “Stupefy!”
Before Harry even had time to blink, her spell hit him square in the chest and flung him into the wall.
“Bloody hell, Hermione,” Ron gawked. “We are supposed to be helping him practice not killing him.”
“Alright, yeah, brilliant,” Harry said struggling to get up because of all the pillows.
