Walking through the corridors with several large books in hand on her way to the library, Hermione secretly hoped that she would met Ron and perhaps try to patch things up with him. Turning the corner, she stopped in her tracks when she saw Ron and…her…snogging in the middle of the bloody hallway. Was there a school rule against this sort of behavior? If not, there should be as it was distracting her from her studies.

Enraged, Hermione stomped forward a few steps and tripped on some uneven cobblestone which caused her to drop her books. She heard Lavender let out one of her piercing squeaks that she sometimes thought only dogs should be able to hear and her eyes locked on the girl ready to hex her into next week if she was laughing at her.

Fuming even more that the couple hadn’t heard the crashing of her books to the floor and therefore were completely oblivious to her existence, Hermione very much had the desire to cast Levisorpus on Ron. Perhaps down by the Black Lake or the Whomping Willow. That way, some sense would get beaten into him one way or another.
