27. Owl

Learning from the mistakes

This wasn’t acceptable. Being chased by a werewolf or an ogre was okay but being chased by a freaking owl was a big no-no.

“Stoppit-stoppit-stoppit!” He shouted as the big monster owl was flying above his head. Once and a while it pecked his side as to look for something. “I do not have owl treats for you.”

Alex turned his pockets inside-out and just when he was about to show the bird that he was telling the truth, chocolate fell out of his pockets. Apparently that owl loved chocolate.

Mental note to self; Never have chocolate when you’re owling.
