■■ 21. Langlock “Ouch!” Hermione squeaked as the brush Ginny was using to comb through Hermione’s hair got caught on an especially puffy portion of her hair.
“I told you,” Ginny sighed setting the brush down. “You have no other option but to use this.”
Hermione looked at the bottles of Sleekeazy's Hair Potion lined up on the table. She sure hoped that the end result was going to be worth all the effort.
Several hours and five bottles of Sleekeazy's Hair Potion later, Hermione had been able to tame her hair enough to style it up into an elegant knot in at the back of her head with a few ringlets hanging down the side. Looking at herself in the mirror, she could hardly believe that the girl who was usually swallowed up by excessive frizzy hair was the same girl looking back at her now. Twirling around in her periwinkle dress, she made her way to the Great Hall where she saw Harry and Ron.
Ron gawked at her and looked even more googly-eyed than when he had first seen Fleur. “Good evening,” Hermione smiled.
“Hewwow…” Ron said as if his tongue were stuck to the roof of his mouth.
