Godric was glad that he had volunteered to greet all the young minds as they loaded the carriages that would eventually lead them to Hogwarts Castle. He couldn’t wait to see the looks on their faces.
Adjusting the collar of his crimson robes, he smiled as the first wave of students arrived by portkey.
“Welcome,” his voice boomed. “Please find a carriage in an orderly fashion and…”
The young ones didn’t wait for him to finish his sentence and began pushing and shoving to be the first one into a carriage.
“Merlin help me,” he groaned. “I said orderly fashion!”
