Lily woke up when the light was turned on. She instinctively put her arm over her eyes to shield them from the bright light. Who the heck had turned it on? She rolled over and opened one eye, revealing a woman with shoulder length dark black hair. Lily knew that if it had been longer it would be curly and quite beautiful. It was very pretty as it was, but the image was ruined by the cold look in the woman's green eyes that were meant to be warm.

"Wake up," she snapped. "All of you! Up at once!" Lily decided that it would be best to obey this lady. She scrambled up from her spot on the floor and, moments later, her cousins joined her. Hugo had dried blood on his face and clothes.

"Are you okay?" Lily whispered, almost inaudibly to him, and her gave her a small nod. The woman saw them and stomped over to them with sharp anger in her eyes. "No talking! Be silent and listen to me." She paced back and forth in front of the line they had made.

"My name is Jade. I am in charge here and you will obey me, understood?" They nodded nervously and Jade looked satisfied. "Now all of you, come with me." She opened the door and motioned for them to follow her. Lily took Fred's hand and they filed out of the room.

The sight in front of them looked like it used to be the smoking remains of a village. Now it just looked kind of crispy and depressing. Lily squeezed Fred's hand, but she didn't know if it was for his benefit or hers. Jade led them to a large area in the middle of the village with a platform in the middle.

"This is where all the kids will be meeting. So stay right here. Be warned, there is a huge electric fence going around this entire village, and guards stationed every few metes around the fence. Even if you run, you can not escape, and we will drag you back." She gave them one last glare before turning on her heel and walking away.

"Do you think everyone from the train is here?" Hugo asked. Lily considered it, but Molly answered before she could. "I don't think so," Molly mused. "At leat, not everyone."

"Yeah," Lucy agreed. "I think some people escaped. Someone will come to rescue us."

"I don't think so," Hugo said bitterly. "Even if they could find us, they'd never get in here. You heard Jade."

"Hugo, don't be so negative," Lily scolded. "Remember; when life gives you a hundred reasons to smile, show life one reason to smile. Look on the bright side."

"What bright side?" Hugo did not seem to get the message that he was upposed to be positive.

"Well, she told us the security of this village," Molly started. "Yeah, now we know how to get out," Lucy continued. "We just have to get passed an electric fence and security guards," Molly finished.

"Well-" Hugo started, but he was cut off when two trucks pulled in. Lily, Hugo, Molly, Lucy, and Hugo huddled close together and watched them warily. The back of the trucks opened and people spilled out. They were all students, ranging from first years to seventh years.

Suddenly Lily gasped and her cousins looked at her in confusion. "Isabelle!" Lily ran forward before Hugo could grab her arm and hugged her best friend tightly.

"Lily!" Isabelle exclaimed. "Lil are you okay? Oh my gosh, Hugo!" Izzy ran toward Lily's cousins and inspected Hugo's face. "Hugo, are you alright?!"

"I'm fine Izzy," he assured her. "Well, a good as anyone would be in this situation."

"And what is that exactly?" Nikolai came up behind her and put his arm around her protectively. "Where are we?"

"Some sort of village," Lily answered slowly. "That's what I've gotten from what I've seen. I think it was abandoned a while ago. The Death Eaters must have found it."

"Isabelle," Lily said. "I think they're looking for you." Lily saw her friend nodding thoughtfully.

"I think so too," Izzy said. "They said they needed to find me, and they weren't allowed to harm me. I wonder why." She thought, but could not figure it out. She was brought out of her thought by Jade's voice.

"Attention to you all," Jade said. "You will be living in this village until you come of age, which will vary for you all. After that you will go to jobs we approve. You'll all get room assignments, most likely with any siblings or other family. Now, here are the other people who will be in charge here. Of course, I'm the head of this place."

Three people walked up onto the platform by Jade. One was a boy with sandy brown hair and dark blue eyes. Two were girls; once had long sunny blonde hair, and the other had brown hair that was cropped short.

"Oh my God." Izzy's hands flew to her mouth. "Mom."
